Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29/03/71, is a South African television journalist and war reporter. She worked as an CBS News journalist from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually wrong and politcally biased story regarding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the most erroneous mistake I made in my 10-year-old's watch." She was a member of Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media organization) in 2019. In January 2020 she joined Fox Nation. Fox News is a streaming service that requires a subscription. In March 2022, she announced that she had been "dumped" by the network. Logan worked as a news reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban during her studies (1988-1989) as well as for the city's Daily News (1990-1992). She joined Reuters Television Africa in 1992 as an executive producer. After four year, she moved to freelance journalism. Assignments included an editor/reporter/reporter for ITN, Fox/SKY News in London, CBS News, ABC News in London, NBC, NBC and European Broadcasting Union. CNN was her home, where she covered events like 1998's United States embassy bombings, in Nairobi and Tanzania. Also, the conflict between Northern Ireland and Kosovo.
