Terrina Chrishell
Terrina Christopherhell Stause [1] was born on July 21, 1982. She is best known for her character Amanda Dillon in All My Children, and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky native. She completed her B.A. at Murray State University. The theater began her career in 2003. Her middle name "Chrishell", which is a portmanteau of her name, is due to the unique circumstances under the birthing process the day her mother gave birth at the Shell station. Chris, an attendant, helped to deliver her baby. Strause dispels the rumors about her baby's birth in her memoir. Strause told Strause her mother was experiencing car troubles and she pulled into the station. While waiting in the gas station, she went into pre-labor and was helped by a car attendant who helped her get to the hospital. Strause was born in the hospital. Her mother divorced from her biological father, who was half Japanese and half Spanish prior to her knowing she was expecting. Jeff is her stepfather. Chrishell Strause missed a full year in middle school due to the fact that she was confined in tent. Strause described her experience of washing her hair in the river, hiding from her friends, and how she used food stamps. When she was 10, her parents struggled with addiction and mental illness. She joined the Worldwide Church of God for an extended period of time. Strause says Strause as a self-confident, self-righteous woman who was never able to hold a steady job.
